We are a group of retirees who have retired from Public Service and private sector numbering 35 registered members. We have a certificate of registration from the Ministry of Sports, Gender and Social Services in Gucha District. The Group stated in October 2004.
MISSIONS STATEMENT
To assist all retirees, orphans to the H.I.V/AIDS afflicted and encourage the community to intensify food production & dairy farming.
To meet/carry out our mission we need assistance from your organization to enable us initiate more income generating projects and raise living standards of the entire community.
sustain and improve the living standard of retirees and their families (Spouse and children up to 18 years)
2.2 Non political Self Help Group
2.3 Motivate retirees to participate in income generating projects, such as dairy poultry farming among others and ensure food sustainability.
2.4 Address to retirees” problems affecting them e.g. Health, Shelter, Clothing, Education etc.
2.5 Endeavour to mobilize the local communities and other to support the retirees social and economical status by resource provision.
2.6 Exchange professional experience in various fields amongst themselves and the communities for faster development and the promotion of HIV/AIDS awareness programmes.
2.7 Link the group with other development agencies for expertise advice, guidance and skillful contribution.
2.8: Establish some recreational centres for the members.
